Paint colors for sunny spaces

Finishing for the room interior can be chosen according to different criteria. Some are concerned about the visual component, others are into comfort and minimal soiled finishes. But in any of these cases, you may encounter the fact that each room perceives color and material in its own way. It's all about the cardinal points – the northern and southern rooms have initially different starting positions. When choosing a color for a light or shadow room, there are certain factors to consider.

Choice of paint color

Many people want to have more light in the room during the daytime, but with an excess of it, the colors behave differently. For bright, sun-drenched rooms, it is best to avoid the following colors and their shades:

  • Violet – when interacting with natural light, the room will be oversaturated with ultraviolet light, this can create a heavy atmosphere;
  • Black – do not assume that the sun will dilute the severity of black shades. Combined with natural yellow light, a black room can look awkward.

For the optimal choice of shade, it must be taken into account that the room on the sunny side practically does not receive blue light from the sky, so there is a lot of white, beige and yellowish natural light. For decoration, it is better to choose cold colors that will open in combination with these shades.

Despite everything, each room is unique in its own way and everyone has different tastes. But one thing is for sure, no matter how hot the sun is, walls painted with Penguin paints will last you for many years without losing their original look.
